Help us keep the music going with your donation today. Individual donations help power our weekly music classes in our program sites across the city of Houston.
Recurring donations are especially helpful for sustaining consistent, high-quality programming.
In Fall 2025, we launched our Prelude Ambassador Program, a special opportunity for families who have made music together with our friends at Prelude Music Classes for Children and who now want to give the gift of music to the next generation. Visit the program link below to learn more.
Attend an Event
We host several events during the year to prepare materials for our program sites and to raise critical funds for our program.
Our biggest fundraiser of the year is our annual Luncheon, where our program staff and leadership share highlights from our program year and share an inspiring look inside our program. Our 2027 Luncheon will be Friday, February 26th, 2027, at the Junior League of Houston. Learn more on our Events page.
We also host additional events featuring our friends from Mercury Chamber Orchestra. In 2025, our Vivaldi in the Garden event welcomed more than 40 people to an enchanting backyard concert featuring selections from Vivaldi and Piazzolla.
Our end-of-year concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre brings more than 4,000 people together for a free, hourlong concert for the 2,600+ preschool children in our program and for all families in the Greater Houston community.
Our annual Summer Institute unites our team of music specialists with 40+ early childhood educators from our program sites for a two-day intensive professional development experience about integrating music into daily classroom practice.
These events raise funds and build community and they are critical components of our program year.

Extraordinary things happen when people gather to make music. In the past, generous families have hosted intimate gatherings at their homes where professional musicians play and we share our program's story.
