Research

We use the research-based Music Together® curriculum as the starting point for the developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned music and movement program we deliver in classrooms across Houston each week. Additionally, we conduct original research to better understand the impact of our work in the communities we serve.

Since 2019, the Prelude Music Foundation has partnered with All Kids Alliance, a research institution at the University of Houston College of Education.

All Kids Alliance is led by Dr. Bob Wimpelberg, former Dean of the UH College of Education. Bob leads our Continuous Improvement project, an ongoing formative research effort that seeks "to improve, not to prove." Explore the reports below to read about our work and our ongoing impact.
